2012 event co-locates with Recognition Professionals International Annual Conference in St. Louis, April 30-May 1
The 2012 Enterprise Engagement Alliance’s Rewards & Recognition Networking Expo will be co-locating with Recognition Professionals International’s Annual Conference in St. Louis to provide attendees with a broad array of motivation- and recognition-related education, exhibits and events.
The Rewards & Recognition Networking Expo on April 30 and May 1will focus specifically on the role of rewards and recognition in helping organizations maximize the engagement of customers, channel partners and employees. The two-day event will provide leading suppliers and buyers of rewards and recognition products and services with unique opportunities to interact, both on the exhibit floor in a unique “conversation center” format and in two special interactive sessions designed to foster innovative new ways for suppliers and buyers to work together to advance the use of rewards and recognition.
RPI’s Annual Conference, scheduled for April 29-May 2, 2012, focuses on the latest research-based strategies to engage employees and includes detailed education, case studies and seminars on all types of recognition strategies and tactics. On Monday, April 30th, Engagement Day education sessions will begin with a Keynote Presentation by Washington, DC insider Russ Sullivan, Staff Director for the Democratic Staff of the Senate Finance Committee, followed by a panel discussion entitled Recognition – The Engagement Imperative. This session will address the growing need of organizations establishing engagement strategies to equip managers with a new set of skills to develop and disseminate engagement across the organization and integrate the requisite leadership initiatives, communication, training, collaboration, rewards & recognition and measurement strategies. Panelists include Amy Hurley, Ohio State Medical Center; Tom Miller, The Miller Company; Bob Nelson, Ph.D., Nelson Motivation; Dave McPhail, TELUS Communications; and Bruce Bolger, Enterprise Engagement Alliance.
A second breakout session, The New Science of Rewards & Recognition, will examine the growing body of research that can help organizations more scientifically ascertain the types of rewards to use based on the objectives of the campaign or initiative. Presenters include Melissa Van Dyke, Incentive Research Federation; Karey Stanley, TD Bank Financial Group; Joe Zanone, Movado Group; Brian Dunne, SVM Europe; and Dr. Jacalyn Kerbeck, ITAGroup This session features the latest data from the Incentive Research Foundation and excerpts from the Enterprise Engagement Alliance’s curriculum track on rewards and recognition.
Following a State of the Industry networking lunch with RPI Annual Conference attendees, exhibitors will be available from 1pm to 5pm so attendees can meet with representatives from the leading distributors of the leading brands in rewards and recognition and gift cards and get their questions about recognition or engagement answered by experts at roundtable discussions on key topics. Attendees will also be able to browse the RPI Ideas Center featuring case studies of successful programs and participate in a contest that brings to life the impact of rewards and recognition.
Later that afternoon the day’s final session, Power to the People: Social Recognition, will look at the impact of cutting-edge technologies and tools that let organizations harness the power of social media to build a culture of recognition, engagement and accomplishment to drive enterprise-wide success. Presenters for this session are Gordon Green, CRP, Rideau Recognition Solutions; Steve Richardson, CRP, RBC; and Steven Green, TemboSocial (formerly PollStream).
On Tuesday, May 1st, the day kicks off with the Industry Leadership Forum, with leading incentive companies and brands discussing the implications for the industry on new research in rewards & recognition. Facilitated by Melissa Van Dyke of the IRF and the EEA’s Bruce Bolger, attendees will cover such topics as how leading brand names can be better leveraged for maximum reward impact; what types of customization are possible; how the industry can work together to promote most effective use of rewards; and how the rewards experience can be improved, among others.
