C.A. Short Announces Appointments, Certification

Michelle Burns, Director of Human Resources at C.A. Short Company in Shelby, NC, has earned the SHRM-SCP (Society of Human Resource Management – Senior Certified Professional) certification. The SHRM-SCP certification is for human resources professionals who develop strategies, lead the HR function, foster influence in their community, analyze performance metrics, and align HR strategies to organizational goals. The company has also added three new people to its management team, Mike Ladd, Bill Harris and Brandon Uttley. Mr. Ladd joins C.A. Short as Chief Commercial Officer; Mr. Harris has been named Vice President of Corporate Development; and Mr. Uttley will be the firm’s new Marketing Director.
