ImmediateNOW is making a special offer to ESM readers: The company says it can now create a personalized ImmediateNOW platform for any interested organization in less than a minute, at no cost or obligation.Rather than providing only a generic demonstration, ImmediateNOW says it will create an actual version for each organization, personalized with its name, logo and branding and populated with content so that executives can immediately experience it on a phone or desktop. Organizations interested in the offer can visit ImmediateNOW for more information or see below for contact information.
According to CEO Greg McHale and COO Susan Shields Darian, the new capability reflects advances in the platform that enable the company to create personalized versions at scale, whether for 20 organizations or 250.
A Direct Connection With Stakeholders
ImmediateNOW is designed to give organizations a direct communications channel with employees, customers, members, distribution partners and other stakeholders without requiring them to download an app, says McHale. Users scan a QR code or click a link to open a branded experience that looks and operates much like an app. They can save it to their phones and, if they choose, opt in to receive notifications. Content also can be distributed through existing email, websites, social media, printed materials, signs and other communications.
For ESM, the connection to stakeholder management is the permission-marketing concept: creating a direct relationship with people who have chosen to receive communications rather than depending entirely on email lists, social-media algorithms or other third-party channels.
The underlying model is not new. McHale and Darian say their work grew out of years of experience developing branded communications applications for unions and nonprofit organizations. ImmediateNOW applies that model through progressive web technology intended to eliminate the friction of requiring people to download another app.
Different Communications for Different Stakeholders
ImmediateNOW says organizations can tag audiences based on location, job, interest or other classifications and create different content streams for different stakeholder groups. A company, for example, could communicate differently with plant employees, salespeople, customers or distribution partners while managing those communications through the same platform. The system supports text, images, video, documents, links and calls to action. Administrators can create and publish content from computers or mobile devices, including recording video directly into the platform.
ImmediateNOW also says it is expanding its analytics beyond traditional measures such as opens and clicks to track what people do after encountering content, including watching videos, expanding information, clicking links or sharing items.
Adding AI to the Process
The company says it already incorporates AI assistance for creating and editing content, including generating material from voice input, and is developing additional capabilities to turn documents into individual communications, create scripts and simplify video production. A longer-term technology, called Persona Now and targeted for 2027, is intended, according to the company, to analyze audience behavior and help organizations tailor future communications based on response.
For organizations pursuing total stakeholder management, the potential application is establishing permission-based direct communications with different stakeholders, provide relevant content, measure response and use that information to continuously improve engagement. The free personalized version gives organizations an opportunity to evaluate that proposition using their own organization rather than a demonstration created for someone else.
