Engagement Radio Podcast: BYU Professor Gary Rhoads on Why Engagement Could Rival Advertising in Scale
As a Senior Professor of Marketing and Entrepreneurship and the Stephen Mack Covey Professor of Marketing & Entrepreneurship in the Department of Business Management at Brigham Young University, Gary Rhoads has a unique perspective on engagement. A founder and academic advisor to the Enterprise Engagement Alliance, Rhoads believes that the new field of engagement could rival advertising in scale. In addition to his work at BYU, he works with start-up companies on crafting marketing strategies that accelerate company growth. He has published articles in the Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Marketing and Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management and serves on the Board of Advisors for the Center of Economic Development and Opportunity. Rhoads is the co-author of two entrepreneurship books: Stop Think & Lead: Dealing with Crucial Situations (2014 ) and Startup Marketing for Innovators (2012) that highlight the best leadership and marketing practices of successful entrepreneurs.
