Engage For Success Conference - Nov. 24th - London

“Engage or Bust” is the theme of the Engage for Success Conference, set for Tuesday, November 24th, 9 am to 6 pm at the QEII Center in central London. The event is sponsored by Engage for Success, the government-backed organization established to promote the concept of engagement in Great Britain. The agenda is designed for business leaders, heads of operations, human resources leadership and managers of large teams. “Engagement is a tap to turn on potential. Why wouldn’t you turn it on?” is the proposition to potential attendees.

Speakers include Alex Edmans, Professor of Finance of the London Business School, on the financial impact of highly engaged employees and how engagement can improve business performance, sustainability, employee wellbeing and social responsibility. David Halpern, Director, Behavioural Insight Team, a post in the U.K. government, will discuss how improved employee engagement and behavioral insight can “change how your organization can innovate and change how it engages with customers.” Engage for Success co-founders David Macleod and Nita Clarke will discuss the workplace challenges facing U.K. organizations in the next five to 10 years and other issues related to engagement.
