Next Level Performance Helps Engage Community with HOPE Week

In 2009, the New York Yankees founded HOPE (Helping Others Persevere and Excel) Week, based on the belief that corporations should commit to improving their communities. Next Level Performance (NLP) recently adapted the concept with their annual HOPE Week that kicked off on August 7th, partnering with the Children’s Specialized Hospital of New Brunswick. To courage children during hours of therapy, window boxes were designed and assembled in the hospital. Next Level Performance provided several motivating toys on the therapists’ Wish List, meeting the practical needs of the children. During the week, children of NLP teammates came to the office to create inspiring paintings to display in the hospital, write notes of good wishes to the children and make a video, and to help assemble donations. It was an important opportunity to connect the Next Level Performance family with the ones in the hospital. “HOPE Week is meaningful to our teammates and provides needed support in our community,” says NLP Vice President of Engagement Susan Adams. “This year we involved our families in in-office initiatives. Giving our children the chance to brighten the days of hospitalized kids was powerful. Our teammates were excited to roll up their sleeves and work together to benefit the kids of CSH, their families, and our neighbors in need.” For more information, go to www.nxlperformance.com.
