"Heartcount doesn't tell you how your company is doing, it tells you how your people are feeling," explains Garry Ridge, former CEO of WD-40, and now the US licensee of this employee assessment platform along with Davin Salvagno, producer of the Purpose Summit 2025 in Charlotte May 13-15, 2025. "Heartcount gives you visibility to the wellbeing of your people so that you can step in as a leader and ask 'how can I help?’ where and when your people need it most,” explains Salvagno.
The solution is designed to provide organizations insights that help them anticipate dissatisfaction or challenges among their teams, “helping you proactively support, coach, and retain top talent and avoid costly departures. Stay one step ahead with early warnings.”
Companies can gain a complete insight into every employee, providing timely warnings and insights for every employee with predictive metrics, using feedback data to gauge engagement, sentiment, and potential flight risks, the company says.
To identify challenges and understand workforce dynamics on a real-time basis, the program involves sending three questions to employees each week that explore eight categories and three dimensions throughout the year. Surveys are based on 140 questions in compliance with Gallup’s Q12 employee engagement survey. The key performance indicators are displayed on dashboards with “advanced proprietary measurement indices.” Custom surveys and analytics are also available.
To encourage feedback, every week employees can add their own insights, challenges, suggestions, and opinions and can see who has access to their responses. The platform provides a direct messaging system so employees can privately communicate with people on the leadership team or human resources.
“Heartcount facilitates continuous communication, fostering openness, trust, and deeper connections within your team. Elevate your workplace with a feedback culture that empowers growth, collaboration, and flourishing,” the company says.
