We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Corporate Social Responsibility and Social Investing to join our Sustainability team. This role is located in New York City and is a hybrid position.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Engage in preparing and reviewing ESG regulatory reports and disclosures, such as the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD); Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), the EU Taxonomy Regulation; the UK Climate Financial Risk Forum (CFRF), and the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).
- Research and benchmark best practices and emerging trends in ESG disclosure and reporting and assess and implement recommendations for enhancing our firm's approach and performance.
- Collaborate with various teams and functions across the firm to collect, validate, and analyze ESG (environmental, social, governance) data and metrics, and ensure data quality and accuracy.
- Support the development and implementation of ESG policies, procedures, and frameworks, and provide guidance and training to relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and execution of ESG strategy and initiatives and support the integration of sustainability factors into our business activities and decision-making processes.
- 3-5 years overall work experience; BA in sustainability management, public policy, accounting, or related fields.
- Experience in compliance, internal audits, auditing, or performance auditing with a high degree of attention to detail and experience in reporting for key sustainability regulations and voluntary industry frameworks, with a passion for staying abreast of rapidly evolving landscape. Experience working in or with large financial institution on these issues a strong plus.
- Exceptional analytical and writing skills; ability to message and present to different audiences and in different formats.
- Ability to balance and drive multiple projects concurrently; comfort in prioritizing and executing in a fast-moving and dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills and confidence to escalate challenges and identify solutions.
- Strong teamwork skills; collaborative, commercial, execution oriented, and committed to excellence and continuous improvement.
