The mission of the Purpose Summit, May 13-15 in Charlotte, “is to bring together purpose-driven for-profit, not-for-profit and faith-driven organizations from around the world who are championing business as a force for good, helping to solve the world’s greatest problems and creating workplaces where people’s purpose can flourish,” explains Davin Salvagno, Founder of PurposePoint leadership development community and of The Purpose Summit, and author of the newly published Thieves of Purpose.

Refocus and reignite your purpose. According to Salvagno, “We can quickly lose sight of our purpose as leaders. Our vision can become foggy, and our tanks become empty. The Purpose Summit provides three days of insight and inspiration to refocus, refuel, and reignite your purpose, individually and organizationally.”

Create high-performing purpose-driven teams. The program is designed to help attendees “tap into tools and resources to create high performing teams, to provide truly fulfilling work, and to help the people you lead be at their best both at home and work so that they can fulfill the purpose they were created for.”

Build relationships to advance your mission and impact. According to Salvagno, “Leadership can feel lonely, but we were not created to go it alone. Connect and build relationships with other purpose-driven leaders, so as iron sharpens iron, we can sharpen each other to make a greater impact in this world together.”

The summit features four main tracks:

Business Leadership Track: Focuses on building high-performing teams, great cultures, and places where people feel valued and belong.

Non-Profit Leadership Track: Includes vision casting, immersive workshops, and sessions on building high-impact, high-sustaining non-profits.

Individual Leadership Track: Focuses on personal purpose, including sessions on defining purpose, parenting, and balancing business and home and life.

Solving the World's Greatest Problems Track: Addresses global issues like hunger and clean water, with sessions for entrepreneurs, investors, and businesses to mobilize resources and solve these problems.

The summit spans four days, with the first day being optional for community activities. The main sessions include a meet and greet, discovery sessions, and action planning. The event will also feature a Purpose Leadership Awards dinner and a closing plenary session.
