Ever wonder why employee and customer engagement remain near record lows despite hundreds of billions spent each year to engage people? According to Bruce Bolger, Founder of the Enterprise Engagement Alliance, the answer comes from the world of total quality management—a strategic, systematic process to harmonize the interests of all stakeholders used by over one million companies worldwide.
To help organizations and professionals get started on the path to a proven process to better management, Bolger announces that the EEA has created a new online learning and certification program, starting with a free EEXAdvisors program. It provides all the information required to pass the certification test. For additional training, candidates may purchase the EEA’s Enterprise Engagement for CEOs, designed for senior management, and Enterprise Engagement: The Roadmap, for front-line practitioners, or take advantage of additional professional or organizational training below.

Bolger underlines that more research continues to validate the financial benefits of strong stakeholder engagement across the enterprise:
- The Human Capital Factor (validated six consecutive years by J.P. Morgan analytics): the HAPI ETF has outperformed the S&P 500 by over 4% annually since launch.
- Oxford Wellbeing Research Centre: Companies with happier, more purposeful and less stressed employees significantly outperform peers across financial metrics.
- JUST Capital ETF (Goldman Sachs): Companies scoring high in customer, employee, and community engagement have earned 14% annually since 2018—matching or exceeding the S&P 500.

A Single Framework With Value Designed for Every Level
According to Bolger, the EEA Impact Academy is created as a practical, scalable framework that addresses the distinct—but connected—needs of executives, managers, and aspiring leaders. “For CEOs, this is about strategy,” Bolger says. “For managers, it’s about execution. And for emerging leaders, it’s about learning how to get meaningful results through people.”
The faculty and contributors come from all areas of leadership, academia and tactical engagement, he says.
For CEOs: a strategy for profitable, sustainable growth. Bolger explains that for senior executives, the Impact Academy provides a practical business operating framework—not another engagement initiative. “Enterprise engagement applies the same principles that transformed manufacturing quality worldwide to people and performance,” he says. “When purpose, goals, values, and systems are aligned, organizations see measurable improvements in productivity, retention, customer loyalty, and profitability.” The Academy, he explains, shows leaders how to:
- Align stakeholder interests around clear strategic objectives
- Replace fragmented engagement initiatives with a unified system
- Link engagement investments directly to financial and operational outcomes
For managers at any level: tools to align teams and get results. For managers and functional leaders, Bolger says the Impact Academy provides practical tools to harmonize the interests of diverse teams—often operating under competing priorities. “Most managers aren’t struggling because they lack effort or expertise,” he says. “They’re struggling because they’re managing in systems that reward silos rather than alignment.” The curriculum helps managers:
- Clarify team purpose and priorities
- Align goals across departments such as sales, HR, marketing, and operations or team members in other departments
- Design measurement systems that track both behaviors and outcomes
- Apply continuous improvement principles to people and performance
For aspiring leaders: a practical way to lead without authority. Bolger emphasizes that the Impact Academy is equally relevant for aspiring leaders at any level of an organization.
“Leadership today isn’t about title and rules—it’s about influence,” he says. “This framework teaches people how to get things done with and through others, even when they don’t control all the resources.” According to Bolger, the Academy provides emerging leaders with:
- A clear framework for aligning stakeholders around shared goals
- Practical skills for collaboration, communication, and accountability
- A systems mindset that accelerates professional growth
