Updated Stakeholder Management Video Training Sessions Now Available

The newly expanded Enterprise Engagement Alliance Stakeholder Management Implementation Curriculum and Certification live and recorded webinar program focuses specifically on the systems and tactics employed to turn talk about Stakeholder Capitalism into practice. The new formal education program will be available live for free until Sept. 6, 2022, and thereafter available as recordings to EEA corporate, individual, or academic members only. There is no longer any excuse for failing to enhance organizational results through implementation of a more strategic and systematic approach to people management across the enterprise.
 
Based on contributions from world-wide pioneers in the implementation of Stakeholder Management and Enterprise Engagement—the theory, framework, and practical implementation of Stakeholder Capitalism principles—these Enterprise Engagement Alliance YouTube sessions are designed to provide practical training for board members, management at all levels, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) portfolio and private equity valuation advisors, professors, and students. The pioneers and early leaders in Stakeholder Capitalism are contributing their expertise to the first known executive training program on Stakeholder Management and Enterprise Engagement, the practical application processes of this new approach to capitalism. Stakeholder Management Theory, Click here for a recording and summary of this session. 
Speaker:  Ed Freeman, Professor, University of Virginia Darden School of Business, author of Strategic Management, A Stakeholder Approach; Managing for Stakeholders, The Power of And, and other books. 
Summary. This session will address Stakeholder Management theory, which advocates for a strategic management approach that addresses and accounts for the needs of all stakeholders, including not only shareholders but employees, customers, supply chain and distribution partners, and communities.
Deliverables. An understanding of the theory, principles, history, framework, and current state of the field that is the underlying foundation for all business operations, including Enterprise Engagement. Explains Ed Freeman, “The 21st Century is one of ‘Managing for Stakeholders.’ The task of executives is to create as much value as possible for stakeholders without resorting to tradeoffs. Great companies endure because they manage to get stakeholder interests aligned in the same direction.”

Speaker. Ralf Specht, Co-Founder, Spark44, an international ad agency, and author of Building Corporate Soul: Powering Culture & Success with the Soul System.
Summary. In this webinar, Ralf Specht shares a simple to understand system leaders can use to build a company with soul. He explains the Soul System™, a framework that powers culture and success for any business through a systematic process. 
Deliverables. Attendees learn what it takes and how to ensure that culture is understood and coded inside a firm to impact the behaviors of all employees and the relationships with all stakeholders. Guest Panelists. Amy Armitage, Founder and Co-Chair, Human Capital Investment and Reporting Council, and Laura Queen, Founder and CEO, 29 Bison, and author of People Economics: Defining and Measuring the True Value of Human Capital.
Summary. This session looks at investments in people from a financial and valuations standpoint spoken in the language of Chief Financial Officers by a business valuation expert. This practical outlines helps non-financial people understand how financial people look at strategic and tactical efforts to engage people. 
Deliverables. An understanding of how CFOs and other financial people can be convinced to make a strategic investment in people.

Summary. This formal part of the EEA curriculum and certification program begins with an introductory guest panel discussion on the state of measurement. It provides an overview of ISO and other reporting standards; the Master Measurement Model for engagement measurement, and an overview of a process developed by the ROI Institute that can be used to measure almost any activity on a qualitative and quantitative basis.

Drawing from the highest-quality evidence and real-life examples spanning industries and countries, Edmans demonstrates that businesses driven by purpose are consistently more successful in the long term. But a purposeful company must navigate difficult trade-offs and take tough decisions. Edmans provides an actionable roadmap for company leaders to put purpose into practice and overcome the hurdles that hold many back. He explains how investors can discern which companies are truly purposeful rather than "greenwash" and engage with them to unleash value for both shareholders and society. And he highlights the crucial role that citizens can play as employees, customers and investors, in reshaping business to improve our world.
